Our Team

Manuel Gelerman

CEO
Manuel—Manny, as we all know him—chose the road less traveled to become a second-generation entrepreneur entirely on his own terms. While a more conventional path was available to him, he believed success didn’t have to follow a straight line. He was determined to prove himself independently. Don’t be fooled by his small stature—Manny doesn’t realize he’s small. He thinks big. He plays big. He is big. He’s an Ironman Finisher, and that mindset has driven him from the very beginning.

Claude Girard

CTO
The expression “life throws you a curveball” takes on its full meaning when you consider the life of Claude Girard. From an early age, Claude stepped up to support his parents and siblings through challenging times. Later, alongside his wife, he faced the unique joys and trials of parenting a child with special needs. He built his own home, led a manufacturing company, mentored others, and ultimately co-founded MPIQC with Manuel. Through every twist and turn, Claude has met life’s curveballs head-on—with resilience and purpose.

Raised in an English-speaking environment, Manny boldly enrolled in a French-language cadet program. He found himself at a weeklong camp in Gaspésie, where he not only mastered enough French to get by—he went on to lead the camp. That’s when he realized: he was capable of doing great things.

Manny began his career in the family business at the ground level—on the production floor—where he worked every job. That’s where he fell in love with electronic assembly. Had he taken an office job, he might never have discovered his true passion. He became deeply immersed in every aspect of manufacturing: processes, supply chains, planning, quoting, sales—and the machines. Manny loves the machines.

So when the opportunity arose to start the EMS company he had envisioned, he teamed up with his mentor, Claude Girard, and leapt in headfirst—no hesitation, no looking back. MPIQC was born.
What truly sets Manny apart as a leader and entrepreneur isn’t his name, title, or even his relentless drive. It’s his humility. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Manny is the ultimate team player. For him, it’s always Game 7 in overtime. He doesn’t get distracted by the highs and lows—he only sees the next summit: Timila.

Claude Girard

CTO

The expression "life throws you a curveball" takes on its full meaning when you consider the life of Claude Girard.

Destiny has a way of revealing itself slowly—we’re often the last to know where it’s taking us. But for Claude, there was one signpost he always saw clearly: Timila. It had been part of his path all along. In fact, he had his personalized license plate, "TIMILA," made well in advance.

Claude began his career at Marconi but temporarily stepped away to help with the family business. Eventually, he returned to Marconi—and never truly left. He remained through every ownership change, becoming a pillar of continuity and leadership. That path led naturally to the founding of MPIQC in 2011, a culmination of his vision and drive.

What defines Claude’s leadership is his unwavering commitment to human decency. He brings out the best in those around him, drawing on their strengths and encouraging growth. He is a devoted leader, son, husband, father, friend, and colleague.

Claude stays grounded through the love of his family and close friends. One of his greatest joys is cooking for them—a return to life’s essentials and a reminder of what truly matters.

What keeps him moving forward is the energy of motivated people and his insatiable thirst for knowledge. His presence in the EMS industry is no coincidence. His transition into the role of CTO is not just fitting—it’s the next natural step in a journey that still has many chapters to come.

Chantal Paille

Controller

Chantal Paillé brings a rare mix of grit, structure, and people-first leadership to the table. Her career began in criminal law, navigating complex and high-stakes cases before pivoting into the world of finance and project management proving that fearlessness and adaptability are hallmarks of her leadership style.

After gaining experience in global finance with GE and TFI International, she transitioned to working with SMEs where she elevated under-structured environments into high-functioning organizations. She moved from client-facing roles and eventually into product management, constantly pushing herself to learn new skills and evolve professionally.

Today, as Controller of Timila, Chantal is a driving force behind the company's transformation. She recognized in Timila a company brimming with talent and potential, and she has made it her mission to help unlock that through rigorous systems, financial transparency, and people-focused operations.

Her leadership style is defined by influence, not authority. She believes in bringing teams together with clarity, empathy, and the shared belief that every role and every operation purposefully matters. Whether she's leading financial restructuring or rolling up her sleeves to define standard work in her department, Chantal leads with humility and heart.

Outside of work, she’s the President of a regional minor hockey league, Hockey Quebec, responsible for over 700 children, where she juggles diplomacy and discipline with warmth and vision. She’s grounded, sharp, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.

Dominique Quintal

VP Business Development

Dominique Quintal’s career is a powerful example of what happens when passion meets purpose and integrity. An engineer by training, he blends deep technical expertise with sharp commercial insight in his role as Vice President of Business Development at TIMILA.

Dominique began his career solving complex engineering problems, quickly earning a reputation for his out-of-the-box thinking. For him, engineering was always grounded in common sense and creativity. His pivotal moment came when he started joining customer meetings alongside the sales team. There, he discovered that his ability to connect and truly listen wasn’t just an asset—it was his calling.

For over 20 years, Dominique has thrived in business development and sales leadership roles at companies such as E2IP Technologies, Lem Technologies, and PolyExpert. In every position, he’s driven growth by combining technical credibility with a customer-first approach. More than just selling products, he has built lasting partnerships rooted in trust—especially in the high-stakes world of electronics manufacturing services (EMS), where quality and reliability are non-negotiable.

At TIMILA, Dominique sees EMS as both the brain and heartbeat of modern innovation. Whether it’s a consumer product or a life-saving medical device, he knows the circuits built by TIMILA are the unseen force behind performance. He’s a passionate advocate for the EMS sector, challenging the misconception that it’s merely “board stuffing.” To him, it’s a mission-critical endeavor that demands care, precision, and humility. He often reminds his team: what we build saves lives, moves people, and powers the world.

Outside of work, Dominique is an avid cyclist who embraces the uphill grind—seeing value in the journey as much as the destination. He brings that same mindset to leadership: driven, optimistic, and always ready for the next challenge.

Dave Wylie

Quality Director

From nursing care, his initial career, to the EMS world, one principle has always held true: If it’s not documented, it’s not done.

Quality management leaders, come from very various backgrounds, and the calling is rarely obvious early on. In the case of Dave Wylie, TIMILA’s Quality Director, it is the culmination of his natural investigative instinct of understanding the origins of problems.  It is that instinct that brought him to a career in nursing for 15yrs that included understanding the medical diagnosis and providing care.  15 years of dealing with recurring defects, without being able to address the root causes, brought him towards manufacturing. As quality director he now leads to complete investigative process from defects characterisation, root cause identification, permanent solution implementation.  And he expended into preventive and predictive quality, with design assurance, reliability analysis, etc….  Now he gets not only to fix things, but more importantly to prevent defects.

Dave truly embodies the TIMILA pledge.  If it is not properly documented, it is not Quality.

Claude Losier

President & GM

Claude Losier is a rare breed of leader who is just as comfortable on the plant floor as he is in the boardroom. Starting his career as a technician, Claude studied electronics while working full-time and eventually earning a degree from ÉTS in electrical engineering, specializing in electronics and communications. His early roles spanned everything from microwave testing to ASIC design, radar systems, and embedded programming.

Claude worked on ground-based telecom stations, radar technologies, and complex aerospace applications before joining TIMILA, where he initially led business development. His ability to synthesize complex technical challenges into clear, actionable roadmaps quickly earned him the trust of both engineers and executives.

In 2021, Claude stepped into a broader operational role, overseeing operations as President and General Manager of MPIQC, while still serving as the connective tissue between innovation and execution. He is passionate about the journey from concept to product, especially in high-impact industries like medical, transportation, and aerospace.

Claude is the kind of leader who says hello to every technician, listens more than he talks, and constantly seeks to align people with purpose. He believes that engineers are too often behind the scenes and he’s on a mission to spotlight the incredible work they do to bring ideas to life.

Outside of work, Claude has many talents; he plays guitar and stays active through hockey, cycling, hiking, and motorcycling. He believes that variety brings balance, and balance builds resilience. For Claude, leadership isn’t just about pushing harder: it’s about pulling people forward with respect, curiosity, and confidence.

Igal Bitton

General Manager, TIMILA Thailand

Igal Bitton is the definition of homegrown leadership. Starting with deliveries and hands-on operations early in his career, he worked his way through nearly every role in the EMS world: engineering, production, sales. This led him gaining a full 360° understanding of what it takes to run and scale a manufacturing business.

Early in his career, he joined JIT Electronics, later acquired by Varitron. Igal was the only member of his team retained through the merger which is a testament to his value and adaptability. Over the next decade, he helped evolve the company’s service model, becoming a top performer in customer success and operations leadership. Clients trusted him and his teams followed him.

But it was in 2016 that Igal took on his boldest challenge: launching TIMILA’s Thailand operations. Starting with the CEO’s vision, local partnerships, and countless late nights; he built the division from the ground up. Today, TIMILA Thailand is a critical arm of the business, scaling production, lowering costs, and maintaining incredibly high retention and employee satisfaction.

Igal leads like a “wolf in the back” which means supporting his team with quiet strength, while stepping forward to pull the vision when it matters most. His approach to sales is deeply customer-centric: he builds relationships that last, knowing that selling a service is harder than a product and requires patience, transparency, and performance.

Self-taught, self-motivated, and relentlessly focused, Igal believes in walking the talk and leads by example. Fitness and routine keep him grounded, while his deep respect for discipline and process shape how he scales business operations.
